Sheffield Metals purchases flat rolled steel and aluminum coils from major domestic manufacturers. Product is then shipped to various coil coaters where specialized painting takes place. Painted coils are finally shipped to Sheffield Metals for a variety of value-added services including slitting, cut-to-length, applying strippable PVC and re-rolling. Sheffield Metals International services the entire geographic United States including Alaska and Hawaii. An experienced Sheffield sales team has the technical "know-how" to work with specialized paint applications. A large portion of Sheffield's business includes military and municipal projects where technical knowledge is essential. The staff has the ability to meet a wide array of needs including requirements for any coating system from polyesters to fluorocarbons.
