Description
Make a Donation The Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra has been growing steadily in musical excellence and programming since its beginning in 1950. Today it is considered to be one of Iowa's premiere community-regional orchestras. Each year the SEISO's educational programs engage over 5000 children throughout Southeast Iowa. These include the Artist-in-Residence, Young Artist Competition, violins for kids and concerts in area schools. Live orchestral experiences are readily accessible at a very low cost, or no cost at all, to the constituents of Southeast Iowa in local concert halls, schools and outdoor venues. Your support is not only greatly appreciated, it is vital to maintaining these ambitious programs and educational opportunities. Ticket prices cover less than 25% of the concert costs, and all of SEISO's educational programs (with the exception of the youth competition, which has a small entry fee) are offered free of charge. We invite you, your family and your neighbors to be an integral part of our audience by making a gift today. The Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so your donation is tax deductible. Giving to the Orchestra is easy. Simply send a check or credit card information to the office at 601 North Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, IA 52641. Your gift is greatly appreciated, and you can make a difference in enriching the cultural life in Southeast Iowa! Join the Friends of the SEISO The Friends make up a large group of volunteers in the Burlington area, who serve the Orchestra in many capacities. They are primarily a fund raising organization, which supports the SEISO through Music & Menus parties. To learn more about joining the Friends, please contact Margaret Hansen (phone: 319-752-3571). Music & Menus parties are under development and are a terrific way to support the Orchestra and have fun at the same time!
