Description

Greenbush Community Learning Centers operate in partnership with local school districts. We provide adults, 18 and older, a chance to earn their high school diploma through computer-based curriculum and offline assignments. Our Community Learning Centers offer an individualized program for each student with flexible hours, using internet delivery of the curriculum. Many of our sites are open 12 hours a day, allowing full-time employees the opportunity to attend school before and after work.

Our mission to provide equal educational opportunities for everyone is evident in our efforts to support learners with special needs and the educators who work with them. We are steadfast in our desire to provide special needs learners an appropriate, individualized program driven by the needs of learners and families. Greenbush strives to provide quality leadership and support to its member districts. We provide central office and building level resources and tools to assist them in fulfilling their district mission through professional development, technical support, budget guidance, and purchasing.

Greenbush Health Trust is a formal trust comprised of 36 school districts and the City of Ft. Scott to provide member districts group health insurance, dental, vision, and life insurance products to their respective staff. We provide administrative services to support the operation of the trust for the benefit of its members and to promote any desired related services. Greenbush Health Trust currently supports the following insurance providers for the selected types of products: Health-BlueCross Blue Shield of Kansas; Dental-Delta Dental; Vision-VSP; Life Insurance-Assurant Employee Benefits.

Greenbush offers a variety of services to qualified migrant students that will be tailored to meet individual needs. We work with school districts to ensure migrant students receive the academic assistance and support they need. Services are free to districts that we serve under the Kansas Migrant Education Program. Our staff has the expertise in enhancing programs already designed by the district in providing supplemental services for those receiving at risk services.
