John E. Black, an Of Counsel member of Springel & Fink’s Costa Mesa office, has been engaged in the practice of law for over 20 years. John’s extensive experience in civil litigation matters, including construction defect, personal injury, and products and premises liability claims, will allow John to meet our clients diverse civil litigation needs. More recently, John’s focus has involved the representation of general contractors and subcontractors in complex construction defect litigation.

David S. Schopick has been practicing law for over 15 years. David has experience representing clients in personal injury, bankruptcy and landlord tenant cases. He also currently represents subcontractors and general contractors in construction defect litigation and general insurance defense, including lawsuits involving claims for products liability and class actions.

As an AV-rated attorney since 2000, Richard B. Kott has vast experience in insurance defense work. Before attending law school, Rick worked as a claim professional for a major carrier handling a variety of general liability and other claims. His current practice involves the defense of all types of civil litigation matters, including bodily injury and construction-site accidents, construction, premises, transportation, and products liability cases. He also has experience representing real estate brokers and insurance brokers in malpractice actions.
