Thank you for your interest in Striland Construction. Striland was formed in 1981 as a commercial concrete subcontractor specializing in formwork, structural concrete, post-tensioned slabs, tilt-wall panels and larger paving projects. Striland’s target market includes schools, churches, apartment complexes, hospitals, hotels, multi-story office buildings, multi-level parking structures, retail centers and other medium to large scale projects. Our scope of work is turn-key and includes all required pier drilling, formwork, reinforcing steel, concrete and concrete placement. Although we perform work throughout Texas, our projects are most often located within 125 miles of the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex. We also perform work in Louisiana, primarily in the Shreveport/Bossier City area as well as Nevada with an office in Las Vegas. At the present time, Striland employs a staff of 12 superintendents and approximately 175 full-time field employees. Striland owns sufficient equipment to handle most beam and wall excavations, backfill, concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete placement, material handling and hoisting equipment to carry out most any size job.
