Description

Working with the Lessard Group, we helped to develop a Comprehensive Concept Plan. Our major goal was to provide an updated vision and refine policies established in earlier development plans. We provided coordination & detailed guidance for several major developments that have begun to create the long planned Westphalia Community Center. An extensive public participation process helped to shape the Plan along with Andrews Air Force Base coordination.

We at the Faux Group strive to offer our clients an independent voice, separate from the standard collection of consultants usually brought to a project. We enjoy the collaborative environment of design teams. We endeavor to provide solutions, which stand out as memorable plans.

The practice of landscape architecture is one of noble intent. At the Faux Group, it as our responsibility to provide solutions that protect the natural systems while enhancing the long-term value to humanity.

Our involvement in the process usually begins with the conceptual planning where a client offers his vision for a parcel of land. Working with this vision, we formulate a concept plan that can be budgeted and financially evaluated. Typically, our role then evolves, as a team member in the design development process, where we continue to advocate for our client's position in the public realm both in public meetings and in permitting. We normally remain with our projects through construction.
