An Overview of the Institute The Multicultural Family Institute is a non-profit educational institution committed to family therapy training, research and consultation to community institutions from a Multicultural Systemic perspective. The Institute aims to provide training to therapists and counselors who work with individuals, couples, and families at any point in the life cycle. The Institute is committed to promoting social justice, countering the societal forces that undermine people because of race, gender, culture, class, sexual orientation or disability. Helping Families, Individuals, Couples and Groups The Multicultural Family Institute's mental health professionals provide clinical services to families, individuals, couples and groups with a variety of presenting complaints. Systems-oriented clinicians provide brief consultations, problem-solving interventions, and more intense, long-term therapy. Comprehensive services are based on a collaborative team model with members of the faculty and other involved professionals. Low fee services are available and third-party payments are accepted. Custom-Design Training Seminars Through our consultation and training services, the Institute will custom design training seminars to meet the needs of your organization.
