The Regis Group has been a major residential real estate developer in Philadlephia. Our developments are successful because they are well conceived. From concept to construction our projects are handled with the utmost of care and consideration, not only for our tenants, but for the communities our projects are located in. With over twenty years experience in the business we understand the challenges and inconveniences posed when undertaking a new project, which allows us to navigate the development process with ease. Regis has played an integral role in redeveloping neighborhoods such as the Graduate Hospital area, Callowhill Loft District, and Spring Garden to name a few. Regis retains the services of distinguished and creative architects who are sensitive to urban design issues. We are a licensed and bonded general contractor capable of undertaking renovations as well as new construction, projects which range in scope from small in-fill housing to dramatic neighborhood redevelopment anchors. The Regis commitment to excellence continues after homeowners and tenants move-in through the operations of our own in-house management company, Pioneers in Partnership. Pioneers currently manages approximately 250 residential units and 200,000 square feet of commercial space in the Philadelphia area. Our projects remain successful over the long haul because of continual adherence to the basics, while promoting innovation in property management techniques. We stress preventive maintenance, attractive landscaping, and orderly and clean public space. Our management philosophy stresses respect for homeowners, tenants and employees. President Gary Reisner formed The Regis Group in 1987 and began to develop multi-housing in Philadelphia. He has worked extensively with various city, state, and federal housing agencies, and has relationships with many neighborhood organizations. His projects have received funding from PHFA, HUD, PHDC, OHCD, RDA, Massachusetts DHCD, MHFA, local banks and nation wide syndicators. He has developed, constructed, managed, and owns over 700 residential units and 200,000 square feet of commercial space. He served as Chairperson of the Affordable Housing Council of the Building Industry Association of Philadelphia. Mr. Reisner has a B.A. in Business Administration from Boston University, a Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law, an LLM in taxation from Boston University School of Law, and is a member of the New York State bar. -Gary S. Reuben Director of Design & Construction Mr. Reuben was the Director of Design for Historic Landmarks for Living from 1983 to 1987 where he completed 24 historic tax act rehabilitation projects, totaling 1600 apartments units and $185 million in construction costs, across six states Gary S. Reuben is a registered architect in the State of Pennsylvania with a B.A. from Cornell University, a Master of Architecture from The University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Fine Arts, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from The Wharton School. -Matthew S. Wilcox Project Manager Matthew Wilcox has a B.S. in Engineering from Temple University.
