Such relationships provide TGen unmatched access to expertise and technology to accelerate its research goals.TGen's Dr. David Duggan, an investigator in the Genetic Basis of Human Disease Division and director of TGen's Genotyping Technology Center, joined 1,000 riders in a two-day cycling event to raise money for the Arizona Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.The Battelle Memorial Institute in April 2002 began a comprehensive, multi-year study of the biosciences in Arizona with the goal of positioning the state among national leaders in biomedical research and biotechnology. The study, commissioned by the Flinn Foundation, will initially inventory and assess bioscience resources in Arizona to develop a strategic roadmap. It will then engage working groups of statewide stakeholders to implement the plan.
