Twombly Nursery

Description

Twombly staff members are available to give talks and slide presentations to garden clubs, arboretums, horticultural societies and professional organizations on a number of topics. Tours Twombly's arboretum has acres of display gardens. Visitors may share in all that the nursery has to offer and while on the grounds, they are encouraged to take pictures, make notes, settle in for a picnic and meet with staff horticulturists. We provide tours to groups for a fee and invite garden clubs to hold their meetings on site. Slide lectures and luncheons are also available on an advance notice basis.

Barry enjoys working with both our staff and customers to create gardens we can all be proud of. He will use his knowledge of plants and practical know how to make the experience of landscaping your property a satisfying one. He enjoys combining plants and stone to make naturalistic settings as well as the challenge of bringing precision to more formal and geometric gardens. Barry will interact with clients on site installations and have a hands-on approach in the day to day operations of the nursery. And as a certified "Maple Nut" he promises to always have just the right Maple for your yard!
