Ulteig Engineers was founded in 1944 by Melvin T. Ulteig to provide engineering and surveying services for the upper Midwest during the rapid growth of rural electrification.Today, Ulteig Engineers is a full-service, multi-disciplined firm, which employs approximately 250 professional engineers, planners, surveyors, technicians and right-of-way agents who have the experience, knowledge and skills to handle virtually any project - large or small.With corporate offices in Fargo, ND, the firm serves a broad range of public and private clients through five regional offices located in Fargo, Bismarck, ND, Minneapolis and Detroit Lakes, Minn, and Sioux Falls, SD. Approximately half of our services are provided to Federal, state and local governments.
