Our business began as a structural engineering firm, providing a broad range of consulting services. Today, though our services have expanded, structural engineering is still a core part of what VLMK does. Much of this work is consulting to architects, but we also serve as the Prime Consultant on numerous projects.

This 59,375 square foot, 14 screen movie theater complex was constructed of load bearing masonry with steel framing and a steel framed projection mezzanine. The large hip roof structure is four sided with large steel trusses over the entry. The resultant design reflects excellent craftsmanship and detailing with strong visual appeal. Load bearing masonry walls are used at the exterior. An interior steel structure supports the roof and projection mezzanine. The exterior cladding consists of metal panels and curtain wall glazing.

VLMK has extensive experience providing master planning services for small and large scale industrial business parks to accommodate a variety of uses developed in multiple phases. Our master plan developments consist of warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing as well as multi-tenant flex and incubator spaces.

VLMK began as a structural engineering firm. Today, we continue to build on that foundation, providing structural and civil consulting engineering services to a broad range of architectural clients. Kevin is a Principal with VLMK Consulting Engineers with over 20 years of experience. He also serves as the company's Vice President. His primary responsibilities include structural engineering and project management of retail, commercial, industrial, residential, and religious building projects as a consultant to architectural clients. Kevin takes pride in establishing and developing quality relationships with his clients. This philosophy and striving to provide exemplary service has cultivated long-term working relationships with many repeat clients. Kevin is currently licensed in 15 states.
