Mr. McDonley prides himself on being a polymath. He takes great pride in enacting the principle that no one is ever done with their education. As such, he has a wide variety of accolades which include being a 2012 Ohio Magazine excellence in education honoree, designing and building an interferometrically stable isolation table, making several autonomous robots, making countless pseudo-color split beam reflection holograms, building several computers, designing and building a working MIPS processor on an FPGA, being an avid trumpet player for over 18 years, having written a full length novel (unpublished), having been a colorist for an independently published graphic novel, and being an award-winning photographer.

Ms. Lynne Kirby has lived in the central Ohio area her whole life. Throughout her adolescence, she took classes at the Columbus College of Art and Design. She attended The Ohio State University, and earned her BFA in Painting, Drawing, and Graphics. Ms. Kirby started her own Graphic Design firm, Studio A, Inc., and worked as the founder and president for over 20 years, receiving many accolades in the graphic design community. Ms. Kirby personally coordinated projects for clients such as The Ohio State University Reading Recovery Program, National Art Education Association, Merrill Publishing, Children’s Hospital, and Action for Children.
