The company was founded by an experienced team of software multimedia developers and codec optimization professionals with proven track records of innovation and industry success. VisualOn has an experienced R&D team with a proven track record in consumer multimedia software applications utilized by millions of users throughout the world. VisualOn is a private company founded in 2003 and funded by private investment including the venture capital firm AsiaTech Management, InnoBridge Capital Management and EXA Ventures.

Dr. C.Y. Bill Lin is a co-founder of VisualOn, and an expert in video/audio codec optimization and consumer multimedia software. He has extensive experience in building and managing development teams in both US and China. Prior to co-founding VisualOn, he led MedioStream’s entire US development team and was responsible for the MPEG and Digital Video codec development. His expertise in software and algorithm optimization has made a significant contribution to enhance the codec’s performance. Dr.
