Description

Auctions have been in the Pike family for 70 Years. The company was established in 1936 by Albert Pike, who conducted farm and general merchandise auctions. This led to Albert building the Princeton Livestock Market in 1951, which Wayne Pike, Albert's son, took over in 1977. In 1982 the livestock building was sold and Wayne began working with ITT Finance conducting industrial equipment auctions. After several years with ITT, Wayne branched out on his own establishing Wayne Pike Auction Company selling contracting equipment and real estate in 1988, which he continues to operate today. In 1993 Albert Pike was inducted into the Minnesota Auctioneers Hall of Fame, Wayne was inducted in 1996. Wayne's son Cory is also a licensed auctioneer, receiving his license in 2004 from the World Wide School of Auctioneering. The same school that his father Wayne, and his grandfather Albert attended. Making this a three generation company. The same policy that Albert used so many years ago, still stands true today; be honest and pay people all that they have coming.
