Windy City Farm is located in Mulino, Oregon, and is a comprehensive horse-breeding farm with activities ranging from breeding to training and then on to the show ring. WCF is owned and operated by Mary Alexander with the help of her sister and Farm Manager, Tina Wassom. The broodmares pedigrees include such names as Fame VF, El Shaklan, Sharem El Sheikh, Negatiw, and Khadraj NA, to name a few. Windy City Farm utilizes Rosewood Farm’s trainer, Kelly Holder, for halter and performance training. Kelly has had over 20 years experience with training and showing Arabian horses at the Regional level as well as at Scottsdale, Canadian Nationals and U.S. Nationals. She has had countless Championships and Top 10’s in many different disciplines. We believe her to be the top performance and halter trainer in the Northwest. The farm’s breeding program is geared towards producing halter horses that can go on to have illustrious performance careers. Arabians are inherently beautiful as well as athletic. With thoughtful planning and care, we strive to bring these two elements together into one package. WCF takes advantage of the latest breeding advances and technology, such as impregnating recipient mares via embryo transfer as well as offering embryos from their mares to the public. In 2011, we are expecting foals from (Justify x RA Shekilani) and from (Shakir El Marwan x Toscana PGA). Farm facilities include: RA Sheiklani (Elsheikldlabiya x RA Hikialani )
