Take this example from someone WorkTech has worked with in the past. This was a municipality that had an existing time and attendance system, but it was so old and was not integrated with any data collection system, so all data needed to be entered by hand. Because the system was one of those “one size fits all” systems from one of the industry giants (you know who I’m talking about!), the application did not perform proper data validation. During a winter storm the snow plows were out in full force – about 200 of them.
