Posted in the Elite Event, and shall do another here! Old Skool is THAT good. It's embarrassing how badly I've been wanting to try this place...and did not have an opportunity to come. Just life getting in the way and lack of planning on my part. Finally, when Yelp decided to have an event here that was ALSO on a free night for me, I was in! The reason I've been intrigued at this place is not because of the great food (which I PROMISE I WILL GET TO LATER). It's because of what I've read of the amazing work they do with at-risk youth. In a former life, I worked with disadvantaged young people. Though my youth did not have experience in the Juvenile Justice system (yet for some...smh), I know how difficult it is to work with young people in general. Adding the fact that these are youth who did something stupid and had the unfortunate luck to get caught...it makes to so much harder to empower these young people. Hearing an average success rate for youth in the program was about 50%, it's pretty good. Yes, 50% would fail you in school. But 1 in 2 youth being able to turn their life around is nothing to scoff at. The youth there were awesome.

Sucks! Bad service and no communication with the guest. I guess because they automatically add the tip in they don't care about customer service. Yeah and they want the Guy Fierri to come here. First appreciate your customers and them request for support. We order the bottomless mimosas and the bartender did not tell us that it was over in an hour so we paid full price for 1 round. Thanks next time please advise your customers that they only have 1 hr to drink bottomless mimosas.

We have nothing but love and respect for lawyers (ahem), but you may want to consider the following. First, beware of the so-called Streisand Effect , which can quickly turn a manageable customer service problem into an unmanageable disaster. Lawyers love to draft threatening letters. However, far from being cowed, recipients will sometimes go public with them as a warning to others not to patronize your business. Second, beware of lawyers who are quick to file lawsuits without telling their clients that it can cost them dearly (see example here ). Last, take a step back: if you find yourself insisting that a review is obviously untrue, there’s every reason to think that your customers will draw the same conclusion as you. Even if they don’t, Yelp’s recommendation software is always on the prowl, and it may eventually be able to put enough pieces of the puzzle together over the long-term to avoid recommending the bogus review.
