Cafe Twenty Eight is a family owned restaurant in the heart of Linden Hills. The embodiment of neighborhood gem." We are consistently selected as an Editor's Pick by the Minnesota Monthly magazine. We are offering organic eggs and chicken from Larry Schultz's farm down in Owatonna; we have Tim Fisher bringing in wonderful pork products from Fisher's Purebred Hog Farm. Our grass fed steaks come to us from Thousand Hills Cattle Company out of Cannon Falls. It has been an eye opening experience to taste the incredible flavors that come from animals that are raised in a natural, humane way. Cafe Twenty Eight will continue to search out more of these fabulous ingredients that are grown with a commitment to sustainable agriculture. We offer a list of reasonably priced hand selected wines; many of which are available by the glass and a beer list that we have been told is one of the best in the city. We offer Surly Beer from the Surly Brewing Company is available on draft where Todd Haug, co-owner of Cafe Twenty Eight is the brewer.
