eSequence was initially formed to fill the void that many Lawson clients experienced when it came to implementing complimentary products such as report writing, inventory control, forms printing and integration with non-Lawson products. Subsequently, eSequence’s subject matter expertise resulted in us taking over stalled projects and putting off course implementations back on track, getting them in line with their budget and helping them meet their original timelines. Our company has evolved from utilizing our expertise to address unique requirements to performing comprehensive implementations of all of the Lawson suites. Our mission is simple and straightforward: “Get it done right the first time while exceeding your client’s expectations.”Ray Oropesa is a Master Application Consultant, accounting professional, technical consultant and project manager who has been working with and implementing Lawson's Enterprise Software for over ten years. Prior to consulting, Ray worked as a Regional Controller for USA Today and a project leader for the team that produced a new distribution and billing system. This system was the largest development project in the history of the organization. This endeavor included making significant source code modifications to the Lawson Financials to address the unique billing requirements of USA Today. In addition, the team selected Crystal Reports as the reporting tool for their Lawson modules and subsequently enabled Ray to develop an expertise with this tool, especially as it relates to interfacing it with Lawson. Ray has successfully implemented and managed projects for organizations in the a multitude of industries. Ray's experience with Lawson's software ranges from version 5 to the current version 9 and he has worked on systems running on NT, Unix and the AS/400. Ray has a degree in Computer Science and is a Microsoft Certified Professional. He has developed applications for Lawson modules using a plethora of databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, IBM DB2, Informix and Microsoft Access. Ray has designed and installed Crystal Enterprise reporting solutions for numerous clients. He regularly develops reports using custom SQL statements and advanced Crystal Reports techniques and has even done custom modifications to Crystal Enterprise code (at client request). Ray has also provided Crystal Reports training and support (basic to advanced). In addition to his expertise working with Crystal, he also works with many clients to modify Lawson (and non-Lawson) Financial/Payroll print output using products such as Formscape. Ray's considerable experience and mastery of the Lawson Financial suites and technical expertise has enabled him to effectively manage projects, design complex reporting systems, train end users, and analyze systems, applications and processes.
