Steven Anderson, Ph,D. is a Senior Vice-President in LabCorp and Chief-Scientific Officer for Genetics and Oncology. He is also the Director of Operations for the Center for Molecular Biology and Pathology in Research Triangle Park. He has been in the LabCorp organization for over 20 years and has held a variety of positions including Director of Operations for ViroMed Laboratories, Director of Operations for Monogram Biosciences, and National Director of Research and Development. Dr.

Prof. Schröck has many years experience in the genetic investigation of brain tumors and other cancers, using spectral karyotyping (SKY) and comparative genomic hybridization (CGH) Among her current research studies, Prof Schröck examined tumors using genome-wide high-throughput sequencing (next generation sequencing).

Most recently Laurence Nore was Director of Business Development at Ventana Medical Systems/Roche Diagnostics, the leader in tissue-based cancer diagnostics, where she led the collaboration with ASI as well as the acquisition of BioImagene. Prior to Ventana she was responsible for the launch of a Breast Cancer genetic test developed at Perlegen and developed the investment rationale for their Series E round. Laurence Nore also brings several years of experience in Therapeutics at Amgen and PDL BioPharma. She holds an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.

Dr. Yuval Garini is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Physics and member of the Institute of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials (BINA) in Bar Ilan University. His group focuses on the field of physical biology and their research combines the development of imaging methods for the study of sub-cellular biology and genetics with the use of advanced single molecule detection techniques to explore various biological systems.
