Description

A native of southern California, Jess spent six years in the plumbing industry there before owning and managing a hardware store for eight years. He garnered additional experience in California working with a reverse osmosis water purification company and a property management firm. Jess joined Wilson-Covington in 1993 to manage the maintenance side of the business. He maintains a universal CFC license and produces custom window screens.

Wilson-Covington strives to always put the customer’s needs at the forefront of its thought. This means that the construction customer, be it commercial or residential, can count on the highest quality work at a fair price. We maintain a highly skilled labor force that we allow the creativity to complete jobs in the most cost effective and correct manner using only the highest quality materials.

Jeff grew up and still lives in Cana, Virginia. He has been in the construction business for over 30 years. His experience includes working as a plumbing contractor, sign erector, home builder, finish carpenter, and superintendent. Jeff has worked on projects ranging from restaurants and supermarkets to a 14 story building in Myrtle Beach, SC and a $17 million log home in the North Carolina Mountains.

Wilson-Covington Construction Company was incorporated in 1947. It was the outgrowth of a long association between Jack Covington, Burke Wilson, and Reuben Wilson. The company was originally formed to develop and construct multifamily apartments complexes, the first of these being Ardmore Terrace and Cloverdale Apartments in the late 1940s Its property management began concurrently with the construction of these projects and today Wilson-Covington manages nearly 1,600 residential units for various owners as well as 440,000 square feet of commercial space.

Wilson-Covington is a full-service residential builder and remodeler constructing custom homes and completing remodeling work including additions, kitchen and bathroom remodels, porches, steps, and other additions to help increase a homeowner’s appreciation and enjoyment of their own residence.
