We have been informed of the passing in late summer of Betty Lou O'Malley. Her death is a personal loss to all of us on the Fox Chapel Area Adult Education Board of Directors, and a general loss to the community. For those of you who attended Adult Ed classes prior to 2003, you probably heard Betty Lou's welcoming voice on our FCAAE answering machine. As our employed Administrative Assistant, she cheerfully organized mail-in and in-person registrations, solved building problems, and kept our records in apple-pie order. She assisted us for well over a decade before retiring in the summer of 2003. Betty Lou, we shall miss you. To her children, other family members and friends, please accept our condolences.
