Our Focus: Leading-edge Software Development to Empower Our Customers Optical Image Technology, Inc. has been in the business of software development since 1986. OIT's Reports Management/ERM module was first developed that year for the optical storage and retrieval of computer-generated reports. Imaging was added in 1988 in response to customer requests for the ability to store scanned documents in addition to these reports. In 1989, OIT's innovative Workflow product was added to the integrated suite of document management solutions, enabling users to automatically route scanned documents, COLD reports and PC files in a multi-company and/or multi-department environment. 1991 saw the addition of Hierarchical Storage Management and a dedicated print/fax server, designed to answer the needs of efficient storage and printing and faxing in large installations. OIT's IntraVIEWER® was subsequently added to allow access via the internet/intranet/extranet for retrieval and workflow of objects that are stored within the OIT repository. Additional products were added over the years, including Email Manager, Electronic Signature Server, XML FormFLOWT, Full Text Server and Automated Indexing Modules. Five new products (Associative Search, Dashboard/Statboard, Forms Processor, Reports, and Thumbnails) were added in 2004, and DocFinity® Version 9 was released in July of 2005.By combining simple architecture approaches with high-end, server-based components, OIT has developed a platform that works for both large global corporations with enterprise-wide electronic document management systems and businesses with much smaller needs. The products are easy to integrate and deploy, and offer reliable system performance. Product scalability and total integration give customers the flexibility to add on, expand and grow in the future.
