Signature Controls Systems, Inc. was founded by Brian J. Smith after acquiring Union Tools Irrigation, Inc. UTI was formerly known as Thompson Manufacturing and was the oldest irrigation equipment manufacturer in the country, founded in 1907.

We are a manufacturer of electronic control equipment, management software and irrigation equipment are headquartered in Irvine, California. The SCS complex houses its Technical Support, Customer Support, Manufacturing Facility, Sales and Marketing Divisions and R & D Departments.
