Wesley Spectrum Services is here for the kids and families in our community. You may not know it, but we've been around for over 40 years, providing a diverse range of education, autism, mental health and social services to children and families throughout western Pennsylvania. What we've learned over that time is that the challenges facing those we serve are more complex than ever. There are no simple solutions, but we've also learned that a better tomorrow is within everyone's reach. By integrating our services to holistically meet the needs of the kids and families in our care, we create transformational support, allowing children, adolescents, individuals, and families build resiliency skills to successfully cope with life's adversities.

For more than 40 years, Wesley Spectrum Services has been transforming lives in our community. Your donation ensures that Wesley Spectrum can continue to provide the innovative and supportive services that allow the children and families we serve to become more independent, responsible, and caring members of our community. Your gift is an investment in the future of each individual we serve. There are many ways to provide material support to our mission, as well as other ways to get involved.

A child will continue to live at home during enrollment benefiting from a secure, familiar setting, while attending the program during the school year, Monday through Friday from 7:45am to 2:45pm. We provide small classroom sizes so that we can provide more individualized attention to help a child stay on track with his or her academic program while completing therapeutic sessions. We assist a child in completing his or her treatment goals and academic goals.

Our Master's-prepared therapists blend mental health services with education through the school day. We provide individual and group interventions which focus on building interpersonal skills, new coping options, conflict resolution, decision making and wellness planning. The therapist can consult with teachers to help them understand how mental health challenges impact learning and create positive strategies to help students to overcome these challenges. In addition, the therapist works to build a bridge to the home and community by engaging families and linking them to additional resources.
